Dependent Care

Child Care

For information purposes only, not as a recommendation or endorsement from ACC or AACC, the Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau website lists two suppliers of child care for meetings and events, including contact information. One of these listed suppliers, Elegant Event Sitters, provides hotel room service for traveling families that can be contracted directly by parents. It is the responsibility of parents to choose their own providers.

The American Automatic Control Council (AACC) and the American Control Conference (ACC) 2022 are not responsible for selecting or supplying dependent care services. The parents are responsible for arranging dependent care during the ACC 2022.

  • Travel expenses for the dependent or for the care giver are not allowable.
  • Meals or entertainment for the dependent are not allowable.
  • Normal, on-going dependent-care services are not allowable.

The deadline to apply for pre-approval of the reimbursement is May 20, 2022, and the awards will be announced by June 1, 2022.
