Conference Registration

Registration will be mandatory for all conference and workshop participants. Personal badges will be provided to identify registered participants. Registration is now open!

Conference Registration Rates and Fees

Included in the conference registration fee is full access to the conference technical program, including access for downloading the conference proceedings; tickets to the opening reception and closing reception at the Georgia Aquarium; coffee break refreshments; and access to a mobile-friendly technical program with links to papers and available videos. Member and Non-Member registration also includes the conference lunch banquet. To be more eco-friendly, a reduced program guide will be printed and given to all conference attendees rather than a full program guide. The reduced-size program guide is a 6”x9” booklet that includes the information about the AACC, general information about the conference and local area, the plenary speakers, award winners, sponsorship, program-at-glance, and venue map. It does not include a detailed listing of all sessions and papers.

All amounts shown are in U.S. dollars.
Registrants who are members of any of the American Automatic Control Council Societies (AIAA, AIChE, ASCE, ASME, IEEE, INFORMS APS, ISA, SCS and SIAM) may register at the Member rate.
Registration packets (including printed receipts) for all advance registrations will be available at the conference registration desk.

Cancellation Policy

If an author has uploaded a paper using his or her registration, the registration will not be refunded even if the paper is withdrawn or the author is unable to attend the conference. Other requests for a refund of the advanced registration fee will be processed as follows:

Requests received by the advance registration deadline of May 1, 2022, will be fully honored and all registration charges will be refunded.
Requests received between May 1, 2022 and Jun 1, 2022 will receive a 50% refund.
No refunds will be given for requests received after Jun 1, 2022.

Workshop Registration

A number of pre-conference in-person workshops will be offered at ACC 2022. See the workshops page for more information. Workshop attendance requires a separate registration payment, as noted below. All prices are in U.S. dollars.

This year, we are also offering a virtual version of some workshops on May 22nd and 23rd, two weeks before their in-person workshops. This will enable those who cannot travel to ACC 2022 to access most of the content from the in-person workshops.

VIRTUAL SESSIONS (Limited Capacity)

ACC 2022 will be held primarily in person in Atlanta, GA June 8-10, 2022 with Covid precautions in place to improve safety of the attendees.

All authors are required to present their papers at the conference. We understand that some participants will have travel restrictions to Atlanta, so we will accommodate these participants by providing a small set of virtual sessions prior to the conference on June 1-3.

In order to apply to be part of the virtual sessions, rather than participate in the in-person conference in Atlanta, please submit an application by April 15th with the required information, including the rationale of why you would be unable to travel to Atlanta. All virtual participants must be registered for the ACC2022 and will be required to submit a 12 minute video of their presentation prior to the virtual sessions. There is no difference in registration fees between the virtual and the in-person participants. The videos will be played at the in-person conference at the assigned time slots for those papers. All conference virtual sessions will be open to attend by all conference registrants with no additional costs. Due to limited capacity for the virtual component, priority will be given to people in strong need due to VISA restrictions, travel constraints, high medical risk, etc. There is no guarantee of approval of all requests. We strongly encourage in-person participation for ACC2022 at Atlanta.
