Processes (ISSN 2227-9717) is an international, peer-reviewed, open access journal on processes in chemistry, biology, materials, energy, environment, food, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and allied engineering fields published monthly online by MDPI. The journal publishes regular research papers, communications, letters, short notes and reviews. Our aim is to encourage researchers to publish their experimental, theoretical and computational results in as much detail as necessary. There is no restriction on paper length or number of figures and tables.

- Rapid Publication: manuscripts are peer-reviewed and a first decision provided to authors approximately 15.2 days after submission; acceptance to publication is undertaken in 3.3 days (median values for papers published in this journal in the second half of 2021).
